About Us
products for a lifetime of use.
The fact that I fell in love with sewing, however, is not a huge surprise. Let’s just say “the apple did not fall far from the tree.” My mother was an amazing quilter and I spent a lot of time in her sewing room growing up. During her lifetime, she created thousands of quilts! I guess I have something to aspire to. 🙂
Welcome to my journey into leather working. I hope that you will come by often to listen to what I am learning and to see what I am creating. It is a true joy for me to have the opportunity to craft these products and I find great pleasure in knowing the story of where my products go, who they touch, and how they help to improve someone’s daily life. I firmly believe that it is our environmental responsibility to buy and produce products that are functional, durable, and last a lifetime. I promise to do my part!

What our customers say
Reverence
Our relationship with nature calls for reverence, respect, and humility. But nature is also something that is used. Not in the Enlightenment sense of conquering and controlling for our material gain. “You say that I use the land, and I reply, yes, it is true; but it is not the first truth. The
first truth is that I love the land; I see that it is beautiful; I delight in it; I am alive in it.” (N. Scott Momaday)
Our Work
We strive to use all natural materials. Many of our products are made with hides from cows, bison, elk, pigs, and sheep. Linings are cotton, linen, and wool. Wood and stone are used for buttons and premium waxed thread holds it together.
